Oil Filter Change

An oil filter change is a routine maintenance service that is performed on a vehicle's engine. The oil filter is a component that is located in the engine and is responsible for removing contaminants from the engine oil as it circulates through the engine. Over time, the oil filter can become clogged with dirt, debris, and other contaminants, which can reduce its effectiveness and lead to problems with the engine. To address this, it is necessary to replace the oil filter with a new one on a regular basis. This process is known as an oil filter change.

Our mechanic will remove the old oil filter from the engine to perform an oil filter change. They will then install a new oil filter in its place and refill the engine with fresh oil. If necessary, this process may also involve replacing the oil drain plug and oil pan gasket. Oil filter changes are typically performed as part of a more extensive oil change service, in which the engine oil is also replaced.

It is important to keep up with regular oil filter changes as part of a vehicle's regular maintenance schedule, as it helps to keep the engine running smoothly and extend its overall lifespan.
